Welcome to the shop

Most garages ask you to give up a day. Drop the car off, sort a lift, wait for the phone call, go back for it. For a service and a set of brake pads that is a lot of faff for something we could do on your driveway while you get on with your morning.

So that is how we run. We come to you across Mobberley, Knutsford, Wilmslow, Alderley Edge and the rest of Cheshire, and the call-out does not cost you anything. Servicing, MOT prep, diagnostics, brakes, batteries, the warning light that has been on for a fortnight. If a job genuinely needs the ramp, we say so before we start and it comes back to the workshop.

The other half of what we do is remapping. We read the file out of your ECU and a specialist tuning house writes the map around it for your vehicle and spec, checked before and road tested after, not a generic file bought online and flashed on in twenty minutes.

We are a small outfit and we would rather do two things well than seven badly. This journal is where the honest opinions go: what is worth doing to a car, what is not, and what we learned the hard way.
